Getting hot in here!
I like working for Taco Bell. but the weather is getting hotter and hotter in NY and so is the kitchen. I work the front counter a lot ringing out customers but sometimes they need me to help prep in the back and it's HOT in there. How do you stay cool when you work in fast food in the summer?

When you work in the kitchen just make sure you drink alot of liquid and don't think about it if you get it in your head that it's hot you will be hot. Keep it moving . I'm a chef for the last 30 years and have no problems with it. I don't sweat that much and I always have a chef jacket that's pretty thick sometimes.

Degrees don’t mean good career ahead always. Look at trade schools s a plus they tend to do job placement.

You stay cool by staying in school and getting a degree so you can eventually land a high paying job and work out of an office with central air .

I stuff an ice cold paper towel in my bra or in the neck of my shirt.

I discovered using peppermint essential oil across the back of my neck is a very refreshing way to stay cooler. When I began nursing I thought why is it so awfully hot in the nursing homes we trained in ? Turns out an elder is at higher risk the colder it is so the heat was always blowing and I found myself miserable sweating and overheated. The peppermint helped and to control anxious feelings Lavender essential oil does the trick though you have to be careful how much you use, it's potent for sure.
Also find a better job for your self that pays more like Dave and buster's or a restaurant chain that has a kitchen with ac in it. That cares about the environment. And there employees
