I went to my interview. It wasn't as exciting as I thought. And the interview questions weren't really asked, I suppose that was because of an online application that covered it. I was determined to work in merchandise stocking, cause I want to keep moving in a job and use my hands and organization skills.
However, I learned it was incredibly early hours. Which was a bump in the road on what I wanted, seeing as transportation would possibly be an issue. But with my determination I settled on doing whatever it took to get that job. Showing my enthusiasm for the company and my excitement.
It was a bit awkward because I had leaned towards a position I didn't want in the interview. So to change it I had to call back and mention that. I'm not sure if that was unprofessional or not, but hopefully I can get the job, i really want it.
So here's to praying that the interview went well and I could get the job I really dreamed of working.

Thanks for your interview update Starry Night . I'm sorry to say you don't sound too excited about this job opportunity. Sounds like the work hours expected fall outside of your transportation availability. Please make sure you take time to carefully evaluating how this job opportunity fits into your career goals and work life balance before you commit yourself to the job. Remember, this is the first of many other employment opportunities ahead so take your time and choose wisely. Hope it all works out for you ;-)
Hi Starry Night - it sounds like you had an idea in your mind of what you thought the role was. I think you have the right idea.. Get into the company and show them what you're made of, and what skills you have. Doing so will help you transition to a role you really want at that company, as many places will look internally for job candidates before they open the search externally.
Best of luck on your interview - my fingers are crossed for you!
