Trying to find a Marketing and Social Media fit in Sylva NC 28779
Hello to all... I've been here in NC for a few years now and find jobs in my life long field of Marketing ,Media, Entertainment and all around creative nature to be a needle in a hay stack search.. I've worked in the Music Record Company Division , Television , Concert Touring , Fashion .. Styling, Design and Fashion Show platforms as well.. if anyone has a clue, an in, or advice on how to market myself out here I'm open for input. It's easy to fall into the Blah of life out here when there's no way to express yourself.. My current resume just shows my recent past as a worker, honestly my talents are far to extensive to log on paper when job searching if you know what I mean. Hudson... Thanks!
Hi Sean: What a cool field to work in! I think when it comes to media and entertainment, it's best to set up your own online brand first before getting noticed. Go to local concerts and shows and write about them. Set up a blog for your area, and a Facebook page. The more you build up your online brand, the more likely it is that employers will notice you!
