Utility Belt

I started an internship with a general contracting construction company for the summer. So far most of the work I’ve been assigned has been labor intensive cleanup which doesn't require much skill or tools. Last week the Project Manager told me to invest in some tools so I can start assisting the carpenters and electricians with skilled work. I’m trying to put together a toolbelt with some essential tools I’ll need to work on projects. So far I have a hammer, tape measure, pliers, utility knife, and screw drivers. Anyone have suggestions on other tools I could use now and in the future? Thanks

For electrical: wiggy(AC voltage tester), Klein lineman pliers, 2 pair of pump pliers/channel locks, 2 in 1 conduit reamer/set screw driver, high tension hacksaw w/32 tpi blades, 1/2" bender, rip claw hammer, 25' tape measure, Sharpie and pencils. You can complete just about any electrical project with those pocket tools. Contractor might supply power tools. If not, add a cordless hammerdrill/ driver to your list. Sorry man, these tools add up fast.
