I worked for HCL America contract through anthem, First they said they were going to hire me on HCL, and then they said they were just going to extend my contract, to september, but they let me go in june, I was a great employee, on time did'nt miss days out of work, why now I am unemployed
I'm very sorry to hear about what happened to you. It's an unfortunate fact that contractors and employees are often mislead by their employers. Often, the reason for that is because the employer needs your skills for X amount of time so doesn't want to scare you off by telling you the truth. They want you to stick around until they decide you are no longer needed, not until you decide to go. It's a shame, I know, but I've seen it time and time again, especially when one company buys another. At first they tell the employees there won't be any layoffs...but as soon as they get a handle on how to run things, they lay off everybody.
Work on your people skills. Most people hate their job. The only thing that makes it bearble are the people you work with. Interpersonal skills are a far greater asset than even the most technical expertise. This is why everyone thinks their boss is a moron. Because when it comes to the ins and outs of the job they are. More evidence supporting what companies and people, in general, look for and value in others. Sounds like the exact opposite of right, but it can't hurt to try. Afterall, your way wasn't working obviously. This is all new to me too. When trying to transition from decent to functionally insane you will need to constantly remind yourself to do the exact opposite of what you have been trained to do. Embrace your inner asshole. Its ok. Nobody likes a perfectionist. You dont have to be a good employee to get in good with coworkers or the boss. And getting in good will ensure you don't get voted off the island more than winning all the challenges. Basically, everyones life has become like a never ending season of Survivor. Never apologize. Be ruthless. Play the game or it will play you. Someone smiling in your face was throwing shade behind your back.
seen this happen quite a bit with home depot and lowes when they reach their probation period/raise time.... gone or transferd to diff shift
Thank For the advice, another staffing agency call me about an interview with HCL America, I don't know I should go or not but on a different project, I have the weekend to think about, and you right they have issue, you don't have any contact with Managers or Just the shift lead

I went on an interview with HCL America and they said they wanted to hire me, then nothing. That company has isssues.
That happened to a friend of mine as well. She was working through a temp agency and the company was supposed to bring her on full-time. Then after 4 months from when she said she was interested in that, they unexpectedly let her go saying they had "talked to her" about not being able to make it work. Keep contact with the staffing agency though! They might have something else pop up you can do!
Clients rarely speak directly to contractors about hiring full time. Typically this is not allowed under contract language since it falls under non-compete. Almost always the issue stems from a less than honest placement firm. I have been contacted by Anthem for contract work. Nothing good has ever come from it. Try TekSystems.
