To go with the full time job in health care and say no to a part time job with a maybe you can go full time after seasonal is done. I really appreciate the responses I got. To let you all know I have worked since I was 16. One time in my life became homeless and did a program with set free. Got some help to move out on our own (my daughters and mine) and have been successful ever since . I decided when Trinity was born I was not going to date ... Well 13 years went by and I met my boyfriend and we had long distance relationship for about a year. Called it off due to life circumstances and I continued not to date 2 years went by my boyfriend the same one long distance one asked me to just pack up and move in with him. Knowing how I became homeless last time trusting someone who broke our lease and left us evicted that I would never do it again. I told him I would but it would have to be after my lease is up. He said bring the least you can I have everything you need here. He said how long before you have a job. With your co. I said people say it can take awhile to get your cna license transfered at least 3 months. He says dont worry about it however long it takes. Well everyone says its the fingerprints that take the longest. I had my old work place tell me all my stuff fingerprints would be good. Well none of that turned out for me it took me 3 x sending in my reciprocity application till I got it right. The main problem is everything is automated and ca health dept had no answers for me and would send me to an automated help line. In the mean time I got a part time job as a waitress and applied at Amazon,Ups, Ross and call backs were only seasonal and walla last app I sent in to ca was because of a 50 dollar fee I wasnt aware of found out how to contact a live person and now am fully employeed at the same company I was in Az lost all my benefits and seniority but I am a licensed cna for ca. I chose not to work at the facility which was no help whatsoever to one I fit in. Yes my boyfriend paid my phone bill and a few months of my auto insurance and. The house bills elect and property taxes. I am not a person who does not pay her bills. It has been a long hard road and yeah its xmas and my daughter turns 16 on xmas and I am broke but I have a job and a place to call home and a boyfriend who loves me and the best daughter un the world I am blessed and thank you all. So glad to hear things are working out for you, Julie. Merry Christmas!
