Good Morning and many Blessings on this Sunday Morning! As this morning begins many of you are already thinking how am I going to get a job? My Thoughts on this is why not take advantage of the holiday season by using it as a way to connect with people you haven’t talked to in awhile? What a perfect opportunity to call them and ask what they are their holiday plans? When talking you can let them know you are looking for work? Even willing to do odds jobs until you find a good job? I often come into contact with many people during my work week. I am always using this tool to first network and second build connections. I believe we come into contact with others by faith. As a person who is always looking to better myself and build relationships. I want to also share a story with you as to why I am mentioning this today. As you know I work in the healthcare industry? If not you know now! lol! I asked him if I could share this part? Last Monday while working the floor at the hospital one of the patients and I were speaking about him finding work? He was feeling down telling me how hard it is to find work? He asked me if I knew how he could find a job? I mentioned to him he could start by calling people and wishing them a Happy Holiday Season and mention his ability to want to work? He called me last night to tell me he found a job! He thanked me for believing he could do it.? I asked how he got the job? He simply said I started calling all the people I know and offered his services. He is now a dog walker. I was so happy for him. The fact that he put a plan into action and achieved what he thought was impossible? This may be the answer for you too?
