Hi Alvin! Working two jobs sounds rough! Sadly, it sometimes has to be done. Some advice - make sure you are really clear when talking to the manager about hours, so there is no overlapping. Flexible jobs are best. Also, make sure you are not over-stressing yourself! Get as much sleep as you can. Good luck:)

Managing two jobs is an unfortunate but too common problem for most people in the workforce today. I would recommend that you make a list to prioritize your personal responsibilities. Organization is key to have some kind of work-life balance. Try to get as much done during the week but be sure to allow yourself some down-time; even if it’s just half a day. Carefully plan social time, vacation, or any expected days/hours you can take off.

Most important… be sure you have a plan to eventually meet your responsibilities through income from 1 job. Stay focused on the promotion, new job, or completing your degree.
