Getting angry and disgusted!!!
I've got 20+ years on a forklift with supervisory experience and believe it or not I can pick a dime up off of a smooth concrete floor with a full size forklift!! Still no bites, cause I'm 46 and only have a high school diploma. But am certified on several types of lifts and machinery!! And it bother me because at the moment I'm Mr. mom and my wife is left toting the bills and it makes me feel worthless and useless as a husband, father, and a man!! It's working on me and depression is setting in!!
I know they aren't popular but have you tried an agency? I know a few here in NJ work with companies that need forklift operators.

I feel your pain. I have 32 years office experience and only with 3 jobs. I am unemployed at the moment and feel my age of 53 is hurting me. Hang in there is all you can do. I am out giving up. I will find my new career
