In need of a position within the health care field
After graduating nursing school with an associate of science degree in nursing I never dreamed I wouldn't pass my NCLEX-RN exam however it's been 2 years since graduation so I'm currently looking for a job within the healthcare field now. If anyone has some encouraging advice or knows of a position I would be grateful.

Hi Shonney, check with insurance companies such as blue cross. Companies hire nurses to do case reviews and/or training. Hope this helps.

What state and city are you in ?

Uworld.com the best nclex review I failed my first time. My second time it cut off at 85 and I passed try it out

Definitely take an NCLEX review course!! I personally took and recommend taking one that has a class seminar and computer format. I passed on my first try with the computer test stopping at the minimum amount of questions. The course I took 23 years ago was with Sally Lagerquist. Best of luck to you.

You need to do an intensive review and prep for NCLEX and pass it!

A great place to get experience is at a hospital because someone new is always coming in and the trama is always a different case. Hospitala are always hiring.

I have a few career suggestions. Consider shadowing a doctor, nurse or tech in the cardiac cath lab. It’s an awesome career to be apart of and perhaps it will inspire you to become a physician or take a class to help you to pass the nclex-rn or cross-train as a tech in the lab. Sometimes it can be difficult to find motivation, where there is none inside or out. However, there are is always at least one person especially in healthcare that truly want you to succeed and will help above and beyond. The key is you must show an active interest.
Best of luck in your journey.

Ft Smith Ark. has a need for folks like you. There are pages of openings here see Indeed ,com.

So you have your LPN? Look at care facilities, dialysis clinics as a tech, hospice, insurance companies
If you have any type of credential that ends in R.N. You can write your own ticket and get a free ride on a train, bus or plane to get there. Nurses are in SUPER-HIGH demand EVERYWHERE.
