I am currently researching a career opportunity which was sent to me through a job search site and during the course of completing the application I found that there are multiple cases in which the applicant is required to provide their SSN. I'm very familiar with the necessary requirements for completing a background check on a job applicant, having been involved in collecting such information, but I've never before experienced anyone asking for said information prior to a formal interview and subsequent agreement to employment with said employment being contingent on background and illegal substance testing coming back clear. At this point I would be interested in speaking to you further regarding the possibility of a mutually beneficial position with Dunbar, however if it is not possible to complete the application without providing you with my social security "up front" then I suppose it was simply not in the cards. I would be happy to upload a resume for you to review but this is not an option for this particular link.
