Discouraged..
I have been applying to numerous jobs in human/social services organizations. I'm seeking a position that I can work closely with individuals in case management positions such as; healthcare care manager/social worker, intake specialist screening indv for services, benefits/eligibility social work, community corrections centers or similar capacity in a human services agency.
What is the most frustrating is that I've known of individuals hired for same positions, I have applied for that have same or lesser education/experience than me.
I wonder if it's my current job title of "Court Officer" that may be intimidating. I have been unsuccessful in even landing an interview.
Any assistance or advise would be gratefully appreciated.
Apply for a city job,or government,talk to your state representative
It could be that they go with those others because they can offer them less money. It's really dumb, but definitely happens.
Seeking someone who does resumes and cover letters to review mine and assist me in making changes ect. Any website or individuals who do this for profession ?
