How can I advance my career as a Supervisor?

First remember what you are responsible for and what your established goals are. Always remind your people you are a team, establish a team work ethic. Always have an open door policy, and reward employees for reaching goals. A reward can be as simple as a potluck luncheon. Also be an example to your people, be open and approachable.

Treat everyone as you want to be treated. Allow your team to try their ideas without ridicule and coach from your heart. The technical parts will be assigned as management sees your actions. Good luck

First know what is expected from your boss. Your job is not to just meet that expectation but to exceed them. Next trust the people who work for you. Allow them to do their job but make sure you are approachable when they need you.

I am not sure how you want to advance your supervisory career. I felt being fair to all employees. Listen to them before making rash decisions. Observe the employees as the work to see if improvements or some time saving thoughts to be implemented.

Well usually when you are a supervisor you have plenty or some experience so it should be able to show and speak for itself… That you always help you advanced and proceed to Your Goal

Never say oh I know how to do that. Always absorb your coworkers and Supervisors way of doing a job. Until you master it. That's the way you advance your career. Be humble and the doors will open.

I would highly advise reading a book called extreme ownership. It's written by a navy seal officer about leadership. There are no better leaders in the world then military. I learned everything I know from my time in, this book will give you a nice perspective

I agree, start with online courses, then gradually become more involved in the company's management criteria. Try not to be too nosy, but squirm your way upwards and attend more boring conferences that involve the company.
Be fair but firm. Develop people skills. Be a leader by example. Listen to your people. Quite often they know the job better than you Take sound advice. Maintain positive” can do” attitude even in adverse situations. Praise your people publicly. Discipline them privately. Silently pray to God for guidance. Treat subordinates the same way you wish to be treated. With respect.
