You know some time a person get so tired of people saying what doesn't matter on an application but soon as employer see that one thang conviction.right then you are excluded from that job.What some people need to realize is that a person pass doese not define who they are today thats why I feel a person should be given a second chance to make something out of themselves.because if a person continue to here that WORD NO they lose hope and turn back to there old life.so if you can help someone do so and GOD will see the good in you

Michael, from now on try to register “No” as “Next Opportunity”. I say this not to diminish the challenges you face trying to re-enter the workforce but it’s important to self advocate possibilities, progress, and Hope. There’s still employers out there willing to offer a second chance but making that connection often involves being at the right place at the right time. Keep knocking on doors, make an effort to get out in front of managers and decision makers and show them how eager and excited you are to get started, and continue to move forward with optimism and faith.
