Got my first job ever at Coach Outlet! How can I educate myself on handbags and accessories?
Okay so let me start right off by saying that I’m a man so ladies please help a brother out! I applied a couple of months ago but I never thought I’d get a call back for an interview. The lady that interviewed me was real cool. I basically told them at the interview that I’m ambitious and willing to learn so she hired me on the spot PT and told me to get familiar read up on the different styles and materials. So where should I start??
Go to a retailer like Big 5 and ask sales associate for information on bags and accessories. Also take pictures make notes. Fastest way to learn. Hope this helps

Study the colors with seasons and read the main ingredient probably the same genuine leather or something of that on all bags on coach bags they are tagged or labeled depends on size have a card inside bags too most they ate all diff but made from same material that should be the easy part congrats Kim Heiss

Congratulations, Cris! Here's what I would want the salesperson helping me to know: which size wallets and wristlets will fit my smartphone, if I show it to you and ask for help. There are so many different sizes (of both phones and bags!), and if you can save me the effort and frustration of trying to stick my phone into every single bag in the store, I am MUCH more likely to buy something from you. Hope that helps!
Congrats, Cris. As you work, you'll see that your customers' feedback will give you material to use on the next customer- listen to what customers like or dont like about products and it will give you insight on what the market in your area is interested in. My advice to anyone with a new job anywhere- stay off of your cell phone! Nothing is worse for an employer to see and it gives the customers the impression that you really dont want to help them.

Hey Chris, Congratulations on the job! I would probably say start off by going to their website, http://www.coach.com, and looking at the products they have. Then if you need more info on things, just do a Google search for the specific material or type of item. Good luck!
