Temp angencies yes or no?

I've been out of work for three months now. I'm considering temp agencies. Has anyone had positive, negative or just meh advice? I was clerical backup for over 100 people and have updated my skills to include basic Excel. Any advice is welcome. TIA.

Yes! Temp agencies can be a wonderful resource if you you do enough research to see if the temp agencies will advocate for you. I suggest to look for temp agencies in your area and look at reviews for each. Find out their process of placing you on a assignment? How long does it take for them to find you a new assignment? Do you need to do an interview with the companies or do you just show up? What is their busiest season?
