Frustrated
I applied for my nursing license via endorsement in Illinois October 12th. I still have not received anything. I haven't worked since August and I am afraid its impacting me negatively due to the gap of employment. Ive been offered so many amazing jobs that I can't take. Then I thought i could work in Wisconsin with my multistate license BUT that state requires you to establish residency with in 2 weeks of working. What should I do?

Questions, why Illinois? Where are you from? What States are covered by your license? Then maybe someone can answered, maybe see what's happening in your life, and answer several questions about were your headed?

I am in the same boat but what I do is I put it in God's hand and one day he will come through but I only have one problem I don't have patience cuz I need a job today but my God is a mighty God he will come through

So sorry to hear that you are having these issues with finding employment. I am in the same boat. The only thing you can do is to stay positive, believe in yourself and you abilities. Wake up every morning look at yourself in the mirror and say out loud "I am enough" and most important never give up. Best of luck to you

Good job

If Illinois does not require you to be a resident then maybe go to Wisconsin and play their game until you get situated.

Have you looked at traveling nurses agency? You might check there to get a job in Illinois.Let them help you through the hoops.

Really...You should Start you Own Little Nursing Care for Elderly Business. Alot more Old People in Florida that need Love and Care. I notice alot of elderly going into the assisted living homes.
I know how you feel and when it hurts.... just take a Day OFF from sending resume or appying for jobs or Studying. Devote some time to trying to talk to GOD!!
God Bless You and Your Family in this time of need and forever

Good luck and email again and again they think about u

Getting an Illinois license by endorsement is almost impossible. I will probably get struck by lightning before I get it.
Have you contacted the state nursing board? Maybe you should start there and also contact the nurses union.
