What has happened to "Customer Service"?
"The customer is always right" is a valid business premise; it leads to satisfied customers and repeat business, and generally reduces the stress levels of all concerned. So when did this become a rarity?

Hi John,
Customer service is alive and well! Is there something that prompted this conversation?

Hi John! Sorry to hear you've had some poor experiences with customer service lately. Whenever I encounter less-than-stellar service, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they have a manager who's difficult to work with, maybe there's something going on in their personal life, or maybe they're just having a bad day. Either way, I've found that a positive outlook is often an effective solution to a trying situation. Here's to hoping your experiences improve!
