Should I tell employers that i'm a mom during the interview?
Would this work against me? I feel like i should tell them in case my son gets sick and i have to stay home with him, but wouldn't this make me less attractive of a candidate for the job… do u think they will understand?

I'm not a mom myself yet, but I think that is something you could tell them after being hired. Most employers will be understanding of this.

Hi Tara, You are not obligated to tell them, and employers can't ask (it's illegal), so I wouldn't bring it up.
