Is it every okay to embellish a little on a resume'?
When I say embellish, I mean like instead of saying you have 2 years of experience at a job, saying you have 3 or 4? Experience is experience, right?

No when you give your references they will find out. It would be sad if you got that far and not get the job because of a stupid lie

No it's not. If you lie

Absolutely not!!! Who wants to hire someone who isn't honest?? Embellishments are lies!

No be honest. Dishonesty make catch up with you and cost you dearly in the end

No, never, ever, lie under any circumstances! Honesty is ALWAYS best for building on your integrity. Experience will help but never exagerate. Employers check many things, in many ways; you'll be found out, reputation wrecked.

I don't think that's embellishment........I believe that is fraudulent (lying).

I don't think that's embellishent........that is more like fraud (lying). Sorry to be so harsh but I don't know how to say it any different. Truth is truth!

Yes

Your right but you get tired of tired of typing when you've had as.many as.I have.
No! It's never okay to change your work experience to suit your needs. You always should be honest about your experience, because when it's time to explain your work history timeline it my overlap or even become confusing. So, believe in yourself and know that honesty is the best policy. So, go for it and let your light shine! Good luck and much success!
