question about applicatoin

I have applied online twice for the Dollar General position and spoke to someone on the phone, yet I get 2 or 3 emails about the position every day. Was my application submitted? It's been a long time since I had to apply for a job and this is the first time for me doing it online (things are different these days!) Should I be expecting a call or a confirmation email? thank you for your attention

Hi Michael: Sounds like you're taking a step in the right direction! When you spoke on the phone with someone, did they give you an idea of when you can expect an answer? I'd try to get a timeframe for when they hold interviews. In the meantime, definitely keep applying with other employers. Here's how to see who's hiring near you on Jobcase:
