Moving to Michigan...any pointers would be great
Hi everyone, I've read many posts here any answered quite a few...now I have my own question. My husband and I are moving to Michigan. We are currently working with recruiters on the job side of searches. Can anyone tell us about life in Michigan other than it being very snowy? We love the snow and that's one of the reasons we decided to move there. We also know we should be looking down state since yuppers is more of a vacation spot. I'm looking for more of what to expect from a day to day basis. How are the people? Shopping? Living condition? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone! :) #moving #Michigan

Hi Ellie Rosenthal I don't live in Michigan, but I did move to a new state a few years back and the best ways I found to adjust was to join community groups based on the location where you live on Facebook. Connect with others, go to events in your town and check out Meetup.com. Do you need help finding a job in that area? If so you can follow these steps!
1. Click on Jobs & Companies at the top of the page, or head over [here] (http://www.jobcase.com/jobs/search)
2. Enter a job into the search field where it says Job Title, Keywords, or Company.
3. Add in your location by filling in your City and State OR zip code. Then click the magnifying glass to search.
4. Once the list is up, click on “View Job" of any you are interested in and then apply.
