Second interview
I had a second interview today and it lasted from around 745 to 900 I'm hoping I get offered the job.the supervisor was very nice and friendly we talked a lot about the job and even said this is what you'll be doing does that mean he wants to hire me or did he just accidently that ahh there is just so many questions and so long to wait

Ty I am giving you a practical scenario: When you get lead on (teased?) like that naturally you ask: Where do I go on my first day? Whom will I contact/meet/talk? How do I dress or what is the dress code. Can I have one of your calling cards/ Where do I sign in/clock in etc. I say YOU LET this happen so you can WNE! Go back o the spot where you were interviewed - pretend like you were reporting to work or get started with INETIATION - play dumm / Lost.

Sounds very promising. Good luck! Keep us posted

You got that job. Second interview. You got it.

Good luck Ty!

I think the position is yours

The fact that you had a second interview speaks volumes, including the fact that it lasted one hour. EXCELLENT. Key question for you is, DID YOU SEND HIM/HER a thank you letter? If you did, Awesome... If you didn't, do it now and never forget to do this important step after your first interview.
Good Luck

It is hard to read minds, much less prospective employers. It doesn't necessarily mean they will make a job offer because you were with them a long time but a very short time, on the other hand, would mean a no-hire. So, I would say you are in the running. So, once again take the steps of the hiring process and wait and see if they make a job offer. You really cannot hurry it up, as much as you would like. However, you can send a thank you card stating you enjoyed meeting them and you are interested in the position. This is an extra step that would put you ahead of the game but it is not the only determining factor. Basically, employers pick who they want for the job as long as they are qualified. They look for who is going to fit in with their culture too along with the qualifications and experience. So, send the card, and in the mean time sit and wait and be close to the phone. It wouldn't hurt to pray and meditate as this is more constructive than sitting and stewing wondering if you are going to get this position. Remember, if you don't get this position there will be others. Good luck.

That's awesome ty I hope you get the position

Fantastic! That's in your favor that the interview took longer than normal. They are getting to know you and making sure you will be a great fit for the company . When you see anyone before you go into the same interview and come out 15-30 minutes later? The interviewer is looking for someone or something that fits the job description also the right person, the right fit for the company. So, with your time for your interview was longer than 45 minutes or more, you have a great chance! Good luck, and hope you get that call by this week and start working! What I would also do TODAY! If you have the employers email address, I would email a thank email for the opportunity to interview you and looking forward to hear back soon an the position you applied for. Make sure you have all of your information when you send email. Name, address, phone number, email address. That's a plus for you because only less than 10% of people that applied for the position you wanting. Send a thank you email. 90% DON'T! See your rate of getting the job you applied for? Great odds!
In my experience a long interview usually means you'll probably get the job. Crossing fingers for you. Goid Luck Tammy
