Hi Courtney: I'm glad to see you're staying strong and positive! So I found a lot of advice that might help you search for a job that's accommodating of your condition - check it out here:
Landing a new job can be a tough task for anyone, but if you are one of the millions of Americans with a disability you may face special obstacles in getting hired. Here are some tips finding a job when you have a disability:
Know Your Rights - It is up to you to know your legal rights as a job seeker. Only you can stand up for your rights, so take some time to become familiar with ADA rules and find out if your disability is covered. https://www.eeoc.gov/facts/ada18.html
Plan Carefully - Thoughtfully consider what you can and cannot do, and find jobs that are favorable to your abilities. Thinking through the kinds of jobs you are best suited for will help you target industries and companies where you can find a job more easily.
Decide When to Disclose - Choosing when to disclose your disability is a personal decision. You are not required to disclose your disability to an employer. However, if your disability will require some form of reasonable accommodation to do the job consider addressing the issue directly in your interview or cover letter - doing so can show your confidence and gives you a chance to clear up any misconceptions about your disability.
Interview with Confidence - Showing confidence in yourself and your abilities can make all the difference. Be sure you can clearly explain to an employer how you can perform all the essential tasks of the position - and how you would be a better fit than anyone else!
