Moving to Tulsa, OK 1st of April, job hunting.?
I'm moving from Gainesville, Florida to Tulsa Oklahoma in less than a month. I have 6 years experience in manufacturing as an assembler II with Sandvik mining corporation, I built custom mining equipment, mostly large drills for exploration. Before this I worked for nine years as an environmental field technician with an env. Consulting firm. I'm hoping that my previous experience will serve me well in this larger job market. It is however a bit overwhelming, the sheer number of positions listed. Any advice pertaining to my move weather its about my career or the area itself would be greatly appreciated. Hi Nicholas, I would start applying now if you haven't already done so. It can be overwhelming, but try narrowing your search. Pick one job title and go with it!
