I feel your pain it's hard, I live with cancer and cronice pain from neck to toe due to truck accident that had libality so my insurance has covered my life long injuries. However I now have to lie in order to get a job and I still can't gain employment.. I was on my job for 9 years 8 months is a merchandiser let go because they lost the contract and didn't want to pay me to go outside my territory which was recently too far in reality I do agree. I now have to lie about my health and all of your phone is part time in or just five and pay bills which still doesn't pay bills

Monica, All the information that you have received is very, very helpful. But, I have the same defiiciency as well. The vitamin D is correct for helping your problem. But, also you need to be in the sun more. My doctor tells me that. But, do not over do it. Just a little walk in the sun daily, as that is going to boost your "D", along with the vitamin D. You can go to the library in your area, or, any book store where you can find some training books to help you take and pass the test. I do believe one of the comments you received was from an educator. Take their advise, also, there are crash course classes to help you pass the test, but will cost you a little money. And, you may have AADD. The extra "A" is for adult. I have the attention deficit disorder. You can get some over the counter med's. I would suggest talking to the pharmist first. You don't want to throw hard earned money out the window. Good luck young lady!

SO what????? Just tell them, in the interview if you're able to score one, that you have a vitamin D deficiency. That should not honestly be a problem. And yes, you do need a diploma. For most jobs, you do! WHY???? Are you under age?????????

Let me tell you about me. I had some inadequacies that made taking tests very hard for me during school. I was failing badly & my daddy had me tested in high school & I was put in special education & that helped a lot! Then after that I went to CNA school but I still wanted more. So I stated getting jobs that would test me quarterly to proove that I could do the job. Last but not least at the age of 48 I went back to school fot flight attendant. I graduated it was hard but I told God that I owed it to myself to conquer the fear of failing. I graduated with Gods help & the study group that we built. Now I never became a flight attendant, (for personal reasons). But so many doirs came open for me because I didn't let me hokd myself back. Find your self purpose to conquer you weaknesses & move forward. If you want your business to be successful then go back to school & get that diploma and build on ut. God bless

As the others have said, get the GED. If you are over 18 without a diploma or a GED, you are "toast". This is fixable. Adult school and community colleges have GED programs. This is your starting point.

I have extreme vitamin D deficiency, too. Taking supplements does not help. Eating dairy products does not help, either. Your body needs to manufacture it's own vitamin D, and it can only do this by exposure to sunlight. Go out for a 2 mile walk, 3 times a week. Mow the lawn. Take the kids to the park. Just go outside for a couple of hours each day. And, don't use sunscreen. Sunscreen blocks your body from absorbing the sunlight. Unless you've had skin cancer, or it runs in your family, then a little sunlight probably won't hurt you. It did me a world of good.

Hi Monica, Having suffered from extreme vitamin d deficiency myself, I trust that you are taking the appropriate dosage of vitamin d to get your numbers up. In respect to not having a diploma, depending on the job that you are looking for it can prevent you from obtaining the job that you desire. You also stated you have a learning disability. There are avenues available to you that can help you get a GED and give you the tools to help you learn even with having a learning disability. If I may, it looks like you're in the IE, contact the Inland Career Education Center aka San Bernardino Adult School 1200 North E Street San Bernardino CA 92405 (909) Three Eight Eight -Six Thousand. They have a number of programs available including GED and specialized career education. It will be worth your time and effort to contact them. Best of Luck to You!
