Baggage handler

I lift things up I put them down

I been working as a bag handler at Delta and people always ask me how I got this job. I didn't need any experience or nothing I just applied. Because you are working at the airport your background check is strict and you have to be able to lift heavy bags. Last week I lifted up one that I swear to GOD felt like it had 15 bowling balls in it. Travel light people!! Nah but the job is good, pays good and the company has been fine so far. No complaints.

Be careful with your back. It can take it's toll over time. I know what I am talking about!

I bet that is one tough job lifting all those bags up, but it's also super important because without your help no one would get their luggage : ) Thanks for all that you do!

Hi Greg Donovan ! Thanks for sharing your story with the community. It must be tiring to lift heavy bags all day long, but at least it replaces a gym membership, right?! :P

I'll remember to leave my bricks + sandbags at home next time I fly Delta for you! Lol, have a great weekend
