Awesome formula, Alyssa! Don't forget to account for taxes when figuring how much you want to take home each paycheck (I usually figure 25% of my annual salary goes to taxes).

Hi Rebecca, What I usually do if I know how much I want to be making an hour (we'll call m) is - m x 40=weekly pay x 52 (weeks)=yearly salary. So if you are wanting to make $15 an hour, you would do 15x40=600x52=31200. Or if you are trying to figure out how much per hour your you would be making based on the salary, you can just work backwards from that with division - Yearly/52=Weekly/40=m Hope this helps
