Things are so rough
Trying to currently find a job here in Indianapolis indiana but with my past background its so hard and frustrating! Im applying for places that say they except felons and i get the interview. Once they do the background check i get a no call back. Its actually very irritating and depressing at times. Good luck to you job seekers though out there in all states

Hi Francey, There's more awareness now that this is a problem affecting the workforce that's why programs like the Fair Chance Business Pledge and Ban the Box are being enacted to combat the pre-judgements, fears, and negative perception around second chance hiring practices. So, if you're in Indianapolis, check out Integrity Staffing. They're currently hiring for a Temp to Perm position in Amazon's Distribution center. Most temp agencies are pretty good about offering second chance opportunities because they understand the bonding protocol and they also like to take advantage of the Tax Credit. Right now they are accepting walk-in applications so try to get in there soon when you have an opportunity and put yourself in a good position to get hired. Hope it work out for you. Hi Francey and Drew,
I worked for a company that has correction facilities as one of our departments. We had a informational session with them that we learned they had employees who worked with people who were incarcerated to get a job before they were released, is there anyway you could get help from them? Maybe even the parole counselors, it's just a thought to maybe this can help. Also check out catering companies.
Good luck
