ONLY DID ONE THING IN MY LIFE
I have been a construction painter for 38 yrs. and I am 63 years old. I have recently moved from one state to another for personal reasons.(all good). When I got here I was thinking I have 2 choices SS or keep doing what I do. After being here a couple of weeks I now I know I need to go back to work but my delima is I want to do something else. Im still in good health but the wear and tear on my body is showing over the years. I guess I just dont know where to start. NOT READY TO QUIT WORKING YET. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about doing the administrative side of contruction,since you have so many years in the field?

There are a lot of jobs that I can't do I was recently hired as a bus driver for my district they have decent benefits and it's part time work they pay $16 an hour and thankfully train you you do not need any experience at all to get the job I had none. I received my CDL yesterday. I did most of that on my on because I started it before I knew what I was going to do with my CDL. After I got my pcdl permit on my own I started applying for jobs. Passenger vehicle was the most appealing to me. I wanted part time work and good pay with overtime availability. So I went with school bus. I can work as much or as little as I want. I am so grateful I found this option. They even have people on staff that are 80.
