Hello there every one !
I've recently ran into some unfortunate events in my life right now that has put me in a little bit of a rut. Due to these events I'm temporarily out of a job. I'm a part time Home health aide and my client that I'm helping ended up getting themselves into trouble and they will be gone until September July at the earliest The company I'm working for is unable to find a temporary client for me to take care of. I have been trying to find a temporary job . Until my client comes back. I need to find something that I can do at. Home.that is legit . (No dead end survey job) Or something within the city of Killeen TX because I'm using public transportation for right now. I need something that is temporary. I have been trying to look around online for work vno luck ASAP I have a teenager that Im provding for by myself. And I have to keep it stable for her. I've got 3 years experience as a home health aide. Not a CNA there is a difference. I also have experience in working with people's pets from kennel assistant to dog grooming , I also have experience working in a.day care . setting I graduated Everest institute in 2007 with honors.to become.a certified medical assistant. I have a good work ethic and do my best to maintain a positive attitude when the times get tough. I hope this reaches everyone in good health and spirit. I'm open to some guidance oraybe to be hired Thanks for y'alls time.

Have you tried the hospitals, clinic, private doctors office, daycare, schools, temp service, jobs indeed.

Manndie, what about a local Hospital? Maybe you could be a Patient Sitter or they could give you some kind of temp job and train you to be a Nurses' Aide? Maybe the ASCPA, Petco for working with pets.. You have good skills.. another Home Health Agency? check with other.. hope this helps.. I am out of a job and terrified.. been out for years and I am going on 61.. I am in Medical admin., general and used to work for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center . I love helping others and I will pray you find something soon!
Manndie, I'm curious why you're not looking for a medical assistant position since that's what you went to school for. How are your phlebotomy skills? You may be able to work for a temp agency that just deals with those types of positions (healthcare in general or laboratory staff).
Try advanced angel or senior solutions or senior helpers also try direct support positions

Hi Manndie. I know it can be tough trying to find work. There are temp services that you can apply for that relates to the medical field. Meanwhile, babysitting seems to be something you should consider doing at your home until your client returns, to make extra income. Try asking your neighbors to assist them with their kids or pets when they are away. I hope I was of help. Good luck!
