When u put your resume together, make sure u use bullets. The people that do the hiring don't have time to read the million things u did at any one of your jobs, they want a quick read. Just do the bullets and put ur responsibilities there. eg. BULLET #1 - Answer phones, BULLET #2 - Typed proposals using WORD program, BULLET #3 - Process end of day receipts, etc. You get the idea, right? Try doing that and you will see the phone calls coming in. I have a career advisor who re-vamped my resume and that's what she did. My computer invites me to come and interview. Let me know how you make out.

HiI Amanda I can totally relate to your situation. My advice is to find a few temp agencies that you can apply to and even though sometimes the assignments are only temporary if you work hard and do well they will definitely consider hiring you full time as an employee.

Go check out temp agencies, they are great for finding immediate positions that may lead to permanent. Either way if it's a week long assignment or four it will get you out of this Rut and give you some much needed cash flow as well as close the gap of being unemployed which is never good for more than a couple weeks, potential employers like to see that your a go getter not a lazy individual ( not saying you are btw) just remember opportunity knocks but not literally, you have to get out there for it to find you. Good luck!

I don't know. I am trying to get a job online and will be participating in an online job fair where major companies will give advice on how to land a job with them. The website I went through is Anna@RealWaystoEarn. I'm sure you could get advice from Anna with outside jobs also.
