One who does not hang up the phone in the middle of the night when you call them to let them know you have been hurt on the job.

Obviously what makes a good manager is knowing inside and out what your company does being fair with the employees working for you and doing an excellent job for your boss it's so simple I've been a manager before an excellent manager
