Confused
Since my accident while driving for Lyft I am without a vehicle and reside near a handful of warehouses I decided to check those within walking distance. Most want you to go through a temp agency which I didn't want because I need a full salary. I finally get the ok from one. I fill out application then had a fone interview 2 days later I get call for in person interview then a walk through. 3 1/2 wks no response so I contact the temp within the company. Yesterday had interview walk through mouth swab and selected my shift. Looking good. Told me I'd get email today if swab came back clear so I can fill out necessarily paperwork so I can start Monday. I got call today saying all candidates names passed to HR he was told they have a hold on mines because they still reviewing. WHAT reviewing there is ppl who getting hired everyday what's the hold up. If not trying to give me a job just say so I'm a grown woman I can handle it. This on hold isn't Kool . I called left message bout 2 wks ago no response. Do I call again or should I just forget about being hired ????

Hi, I call again and keep looking for employment. While they’re pussyfooting around you still need a job. I went through this awhile ago, I was hired by another company after 6 months I get an offer letter in the mail, I say really ! Did they Exocet me to wait six months keep looking while your waiting if something else comes along take it.
Holds . If you lived in several states or counties and not all background checks are done yet. Follow up it should take no longer than a week

Was it the mouth swabs or background check maybe I would look elsewhere in the meantime though that is why I dont like temp companies either did u call the temp company and ask them what's going on

You should move on. Unless your swab indicated drug use, there shouldn't be a hold unless they have over hired. Best of luck.
Hi Monique, This is and should be UNACCEPTABLE, companys act highly unrespectable, but yet they demand that employees get the message quickly that employers need to act in a respectful way. It is incredible and really wrong when people aren't sure if they should continue uploading resumes and conducting interviews until you here, "Your Hired."
Sounds like someone's drug test came back a little iffy
