Some of my favorite things about working for Target was that they actually offer all the things they say they will in the job description. No BS! They support their employees or at least my store did.
-Flexible scheduling (I worked here while in school so when I needed time off it was great) -Decent pay (not too bad for me at the time) -Free food/drinks/events often (at least once a month, usually every other fri) -The ability to promote, equal opportunity (won't work anywhere that isn't) -Surveys to try to improve the team's morale and conditions (I don't love these but they do help I guess). -Willing to relocate you, if needed (a few of my co-workers moved).
Good luck to those looking to work for Target!

Hi Lilly, THANKS for the update with Target. It's great to hear that some corporations stop to think about the employees that make a difference. In today's world everything doesn't have to be all serious business. Some managers realize that keeping employees loose, is the best medicine. Being Happy where you work means a Lot. Lilly, you Leaned Enormously from your job Experience. Take it with you when you become a Manager some day.

How do I get a job at Target??

So glad to hear you had a great experience Lilly Smith thank you for sharing this info for those interested in working for Target! : )

It seems you had pleasant experience working at Target store ( if you mean that) You must be a white person. Target has discriminated against me clearly.

That's good to hear!

Thanks for posting! It is refreshing to know that there are big corporations like Target that are supportive of their employees!
I never worked at a place like that sounds too good to be true most of the places I worked at supermarkets Stop&Shop, Shaw's and Shop Rite were just the oppisite . In fact Shop Rite was so bad that they never told anyone that they were closing. I went to work one day and there was a big sign in window OUT OF BUSSINESS
