Is the Military a way out for working poor?
Can't find a good paying job where I can earn enough to support myself . Thinking about the military. Is that still a good choice for displaced young college grads who still can't find a job?

Brian,
Having served in the military I am somewhat bias, however, I think you need to be realistic. It is a significant commitment that you cannot just walk away from if you are not happy. There were a few people in my basic training that joined for the wrong reasons and they were miserable the entire time. So with that being said, the military is an excellent choice if it is where you want to be.

Navy and Air Force are excellent for college grads.

Brian, Depends on the branch. Some branches offer more job training than others. The air force is probably the best.

Hello NO! Don't you know the military sends poor people to the front of the line. Amazon is hiring go there or find 2 jobs to support yourself. Beats being put in harms way unnecessarily.

Yes the military is great. Speak to a recruiter today.
I am a veteran who served 12 years in the service. Now I am out struggling to find a better job and the only option I have as of now is to go back to school. I mean seriously who wants to hire an infantryman who served three tours in combat without the necessary college credentials. My best advise to young people is to at least finish college before considering joining the military. Sadly I injured my leg while serving in the Army but still the so called veterans medical clinic here in Elko, Nevada are not taking things seriously.
