More Hours in a Slow Restaurant?
I work as a waitress at a country/suburban area restaurant in Maine. Occasionally we have really busy days, but most of the time it’s dead. Problem is I need more hours so I can pay my bills. How do I ask my manager for more time on the schedule, even though it’s not super busy?

That might be tough, considering the busy environment usually determines how many people are needed. It’s worth talking to your manager anyway just to see what he says.

Hi Samantha maybe it’s not about getting more hours, but getting the right hours? Like working when you know it’s going to be busy?
