Wondering in California
I will be unemployed at the end of May. What I am wondering, is if one is allowed to draw both Unemployment and Social Security at the same time. I am 62, thus eligible so SS, but intend to continue working part time to make up the difference between my current wages and my future allotment. I tried looking it up on the .gov page but couldn't find it as a topic or a FAQ. dose anybody know?

Hi Phyllis! It looks like you can, but you might get less unemployment if you receive both. Here's a link I found talking about it: http://finance.zacks.com/can-collect-unemployment-social-security-retirement-benefits-together-2157.html
