Last day!! Bitter Sweet!!!

Today is my last day in my current role. It is bitter sweet tho. I did like the people I worked with but it was just my time to go. I keep second guessing myself but I do and I hope that I am making the right choice. The other managers told me that my manager is a fool to let me go. That makes me feel like a did some good things in this role. I do wish my manager the best and hope he finds that person with as much experience that his heart desires. Now I have another group of crazies to get used to and they get used to me!!! Im so looking forward to great future withthis company

Hi Jerline, We spend so much time at our jobs that they eventually become like our second homes. The experiences we share with our co-workers end up as memorable life moments, good or bad. That's why it's so important to find jobs that offer a considerable amount of satisfaction and enjoyment. Embrace your last day with gratitude and joy. At the close of business day start looking forward to your new journey with excitement and hope. I can't wait to hear what you have to share within first 30 days at your new job. Congrats

Hi Jerline, Congrats on the new job! One thought for you: do you think that your former colleagues would write a reference/Praise? You want that positivity to follow you!! (Sounds like the manager who gave you wonderful feedback might write something nice!). Just a thought.

Check back in with us to let us know how your new job is going, ok? People on JC love to hear follow-up. :) Best regards, Marijoy

Congrats Jerline! I understand how it is about leaving coworkers - you can't help but form friendships, even in a workplace where you're unhappy. Did you give them your contact info so you guys can stay in touch outside of the workplace? And BEST of luck with your future job, we're all so happy for you!
