Posting Administrator at American Anesthesiology

Bachelor Business Administration

Hello, I have been searching for a job for a while now. I have an associate degree in Applied Science/Medical Office Administration. I recently earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management. I currently work post insurance/patient payments. I would like to transition into the Human Resource field. What steps should I take?

Hi Shauna,

Happy to help! The fact that you are already used to working in an office environment and have a Bachelors degree focused on BA/HR should make the transition fairly smooth. If I were in your shoes, I would start by looking at positions around HR Coordination or Generalist. Your duties could consist of anything from Benefits, On-boarding, Training, Compensation or even hiring. This would get your foot in the door and from there you could grow to an HR Business Partner or Manager. I did a quick search for roles in the Raleigh, NC area, please change the location if this isn't where you are currently.

Best of luck in the search and please follow up with me directly if you have any questions or need help choosing specific roles.
