I am a 20 year electrician and comunication ,energy management tech.
I have wired hundreds of homes in Raleigh and surrounding areas including data, phone and CATV, Sat, prewires. Also thrive on trouble shooting. I have ncdl. I can pass any drug test, have a vehicle, everything except a high school diploma, or ged. I love hard work and it's payoffs. I really need a chance to prove what I am capable of. Please give me a chance to excel in your company. I live in Middlesex NC, and would love to work this area but will take anything available. Please consider me as I am anxious to work immediately.

Hey Jeff, I just read your very well crafted post inquiring on a job opportunity with Dish Network. Sounds like your work experience, skills, and industry know how would make you a strong candidate to exceed in a field tech capacity at Dish. I know the HS or GED requirement is a deal breaker with most of these big companies but I took a quick look at the Satellite TV Technician/Installer job description and the education requirement reads "High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus". The keyword here is 'Preferred" not mandated which means there's possibly room to negotiate.
