Interview canceled because of the STUPID CORONAVIRUS!
I was supposed to have an interview this week for my first job! I have never had a real job before, I have only babysat for family members.
I applied to a coffee shop downtown as a cashier! They had to cancel my interview because the cafe is closed until further notice :( I'm so bummed... I was really excited.
Keep your self safe until all this virus 🦠 stuff is over your young you have a life time to work
Ok, this is how you approach your situation wait until they open why because they do need you and guess what if your so eager to get out there and work DON"T why because you doing America well by staying home until they open. Why because you don't want to be out there spreading the corona virus when you could have prevented it.
I was gona say...go back to baby sitting but unless you grow up and grasp the severity of what's going on, you probably shouldn't even do that

The service industry will be down for about 6 months, Lin. Apply for another type of job. Supermarkets and overnight stocking is in demand right now. Sam's Club and Costco!

I had an interview for an administrative job at a counseling office, but they cancelled it and the used the virus as the reason. I had been preparing for this since last Friday (haircut, research, etc., and etc.). I don't even have a "fighting chance" to do well on an interview. I told them if they really need someone to work there, I hope they find the right person who does them right. FRUSTRATED!!!!!!
How about the military Lin. Good place to start your adult life. If you are still in school look into ROTC or Jr.ROTC. Good skills, build integrity, build character, start a good career.
