Resumes with no experience?
I’m a high school student looking for my first job. I applied for a stocker clerk job at HEB but didn’t list anything in the experience section of the online application. Do I need a resume if I don’t have any previous experience?

Your resume is the first indicator of how much effort you are willing to put into something to succeed. So, yes you need your resume. Whatever job you are applying for should be a job you believe you can succeed in. The reasons you believe you can succeed in that job are the things that should be on your resume.

If you don't have a resume to list you can list in the experience section of your application that you are willing to learn and have an open mind for any new ideas.

Generally you will be underqualified (no relevant work experience) or overqualified. What that means in many cases is your skin is the wrong color, your gender is not the one they are looking for and/or you are too old, too young. No one is just right. No one is exactly what they are looking for. Getting hired is a crap shoot that has very little to do with qualifications, skill, experience. BUT what everyone appreciates is demonstrable work ethic. What can you say in two or three sentences that indicates that have it?

Yes. Even if you don't have any "work" experience, you do have experience in other areas of your life such as school. List projects you completed, groups you were part of (especially one in which you were a leader), even down to travel experience you may have had in the past. A resume is not only to show your work experience, it should give a snapshot of who you are and what kind of person you are. Good luck with your job search.

Yes I agree with every one below it is always good to put a resume with all your strongest point and knowledge. YoU put any and every volunteer work experience you have even if it church, community center, elderly home, or even elderly Centers.i would also recommend you trying to apply for Ross Dress for less they are most easily to get in as long as your 18 or older and you score high on the assessment test you can get in

if you're looking for experience but have trouble getting a job, volunteering is a great way to have something to put on a resume. you might have a boys and girls club, or a big brothers/big sisters, or churches or something near you where you can get involved just by helping out. it looks good on a resume and gives you goo d experience!

IDK they Never answer back

It could help you stand apart from other applicants. Even if you have no work experience, you may have experience volunteering or performing a hobby. Start with a section focusing on your education. As long as it relates to the job, school projects are also acceptable when you have no work experience.
I would make a resume and include volunteer experience
