Think I am going to chase my dream

I am tired of Ohio and have been thinking about moving to Florida and getting some warm weather in my bones. So I applied for a custodial job at Disney. I would love to work there, everyone always seems so happy. I know they treat their employees good too. It's just time to make a change.

My name is Paulette In 1994 I moved to Las Vegas. From Long Island. In years prior I had to back out Of purchasing a beautiful Condominium. I became violently ill with on of the worst Migraines. After my daughter who was 18 at the time drove me to the Emergency roomThe next day I went to visit the model I saw s young woman holding her head and face. I asked her if she was okay. She replied she could not take the mold ,mildew, and humidity.

I am native to Florida and it is alot different here than Ohio and the heat is terrible this time of year as well as Orlando seems to have so many people here now that there really is no place here that is not always rediculous with traffic jams. Me personally I am a native trying to get out of Orlando. Good Luck.

Good for you. Disney offers the best in training of customer service and I also believe they offer college level courses in the event you're looking to obtain a degree. All the best to you.

My 18 year old work at Disney CA. Earns $14.10 / hr. Allows him to go to college as they operate 24/7 .... he works "food service", stocking restaurants from 11pm to 6pm and is paid 8hrs.

Make sure you Ace the personality test, otherwise they will pass you on but eady to get hired after

I believe Disney varies, because I know a guy that’s been working at Disney 3+ years distributing water bottles. And he gets 10.35 and hour, sleeps in his car. Been homeless for about a year. Florida housing in the orlando area is horrid ( I’m born and raised here) same apartment I had 4 years ago which was a 2bedrm/bth is Double the amount now. With good background or a degree you can find a steady job. Most jobs want a degree and years experience. My love interest is a 6 year vet, 2 degrees, 4 well paying past jobs where he was manager at all of them. And now he’s struggling finding a better job that will pay him his worth. The most he’s found is a call center 14.00$ and hour. & he’s been there for three years very unhappy. But life is what you make it, Orlando was rated #1 in Florida for worst housing crisis. My other friend works at universal at the ticket booth 11.00$ and hour he’s been there 5 years. Sometimes he lets me in free with his passes he gets with the job. Just give you the 411. Good luck!

I think you would like Northwest, Arkansas. Plenty of jobs here. The weather is nice here most of the time.
