Emergency Department Financial Counselor at Kaiser Permanente

A little apprehensive. . .

I was fired from my last position for having a heart attack at work. Due to medical conditions, beyond my control, working from home is my only option. I'm nervous and apprehensive, but would love to be productive again.

Yes, this was beyond your control. Praying that you are doing much better. Please understand, that you didn't get fired because you had a heart attack at work. Because you had a heart attack they are concerned that you may be a liability. If working from home is going to be best for you, then I think you should embrace it. Many people would love to be able to work from home but for one reason or another, they are not able to. This will be so much less stressful for you and it sounds like you need that. God has a plan for you. I just know it.
