I am a graduate student looking for internships or volunteer jobs in software testing. Fluent in python scripting and having experience in manual testing. Please suggest. Thanks, Mythili

Internships are usually for those who have not yet graduated yet. I dont know of volunteer groups with a qa dept. I dont think you are marketing yourself well there.
You have Python which is good. If you are going into QA, do you have any of the rest of the QA ecosystem? Python alone is not enough for QA.

Check out local churches, the VA, etc. Actually go out to different businesses, and ask; thats how I did my internship, albeit for a Bachelor's degree in Science of Psychology, w a Counseling minor, & additional cognate.

Hi, I need to have someone redo my website and cannot really afford it and was wondering if you would be at all itnerested in taking that on as a volunteer job? susan mays

Are you willing to go outside your comfort zone for a job?

where are you located

Have you tried Intel? They are constantly hiring software engineers and testing. If you are near one of their development centers (Santa Clara, Portland, Seattle, etc.) You might get in on an internship pretty easily.,

Best way to seek volunteer opportunities is within your school. Speak to your professor, faculty or advisor.
Hello., You should check usaa opportunities in internship and even actually hiring considerations in your skills. Python scripting is more demanding and many companies actually always on the lookout out and always hiring for new rising Stars in the IT fields and especially in scripting. Microsoft, Intel, usaa, are some of the names I would start looking into their openings and internship programs. Also don't hesitate to check out Google internship programs as well. Happy scripting :)
