Social Butterfly
During an Interview I was asked "Why do think you would be a good fit for our company? I wanted to be creative and memorable, my response was I am social butterfly. The interview smirked politically, and asked What is a Social Butterfly? My response was The cool way of saying diversified. And then went on to explain The U.S is built upon diversity, we are one big melting pot of many different nationalities and ethnic background. But we must also go beyond, we should also consider religion, gender, age group, social class, and also emotions. Being able to professionally adjust and adapt to any and every client that comes your way no matter what background or emotional state is presented, making the client feel right at home will create a positive experience, satisfaction and will create good rapport for the employee as well as the employer. I was hired on the spot.

Congratulations Tye. It sounds like your response made you stand out from other candidates and made enough of an impression to get hired on the spot. A common question in the interview process is 'Why should we hire you?' or. 'Why would you be an asset to this company?' The great thing is that people can prepare for this question in advance by coming up with their own unique response. This can be done with a number of interview questions as well.
