Never. He was ex military and he was all business all the time and worked that way....
At the time I was employed there, BCH had the only pharmacy tech training program in San antonio. We went in with no experience and learned from the ground up in every possible situation. We techs were expected to exhibit professional behavior while on duty. We laughed w/ our fellow techs but any joking was not allowed w/ our bosses. They said, if you are kidding around, you are not working. If you are not working, you don't need to be here. Fortunately for me, the job was excellent training for being a pharmacy tech as a career. I transferred to another tech job and this training helped me to excel in any work situation. I was very proud of being a pharmacy tech and how hard I worked to be one of the best and I worked to continue that attitude whatever job duties came up over my 40+ years. I received excellent evaluations from my future boss at ALM every year and was told they fully appreciated my work ethic.
