I'm 55 and lost my disabilty due to parents leaving something in the will 2years ago and now ss stoped payment since Oct 2018 I have know income and very hard to find a job.thank God for my roomate being understanding the whole time without paying rent.im able to work part time .

In addition to McDonald's, apply in person at Chick Fil A. They are "older worker friendly" and I think you would find their restaurants a more pleasant place to work. Another suggestion is CVS or Walgreens --"older worker-friendly" as well!

Your best bet is to apply online or in person. Use the "Careers" portion of the McDonald's site and look for restaurants in your city to view and apply for work:

Also consider other establishments that hire older workers like diners (Waffle House, Denny's, etc...) and consider Donut Shops as well, as they are typically always filled with older workers.
