The Bible. Especially Proverbs. It's full of wisdom. And I am not a Holy Roller. Second choice would be "When I say no I feel Guilty". You can buy it on Amazon.com.

One of my favorite books that helped me through my job-searching time was The Church of 80% Sincerity, which was written by a motivational speaker. I'm reading "Daring Greatly" by Brene Brown... it's such a great motivator to get out there and try your hardest every single day! She was inspired to write the book based on the Teddy Roosevelt quote, which ends with: “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; . . . who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly".

What Should I Do with My Life?: The True Story of People Who Answered the Ultimate Question by Po Bronson
It's not self help. It's not a top-10 list of tips. It's not a "secret trick for success... revealed!!" book. Those are useful in some situations. This is something else.
It's a set of stories - told by real people and compiled by a journalist - describing their own paths, moving from a lack of clarity to understanding of what they wanted to do as a career.
It is a great and helpful read for anyone who sees that career choice, finding one's passion, and matching your skills to work that is satisfying is, at heart, a tremendously personal process and can be very different for different people.
